Order coating line equipment, which should provide information and parameters?

1, the whole product the largest equivalent to the workpiece specifications: length, width, height, weight;

2, the name of the products, raw materials, material thickness, hanging;

3, the annual output, the annual working days, day and operating hours?

4, the surface or without oil;

5, the surface without rust;

6, the coating process to be adopted for the powder coating, painting or dipping, cathodic electrodeposition, anode electrophoresis;

7, the workpiece to be sprayed with what color, color change cycle, film thickness and type of coating;

8, forms of production: automatic / intermittent;

9, to be assigned to the painting energy profiles: Power (KW), steam (T / h), water (T / h) compressed air (M3/min), heat oil or gas form;

10, plant can use the actual area and effective height

To design a line to meet the customer’s capacity requirements, COLO requires a reference strip width and thickness, together with maximum/minimum thickness and widths. The reference strip is the strip size most commonly processed.
 

With this information our designers are able to determine:
1. The thermal capacity of the oven and the strip contact time in the oven and/or
2. The maximum process section line speed
The initial selection of these parameters must be suited to the desired output. To purchase a line with excess capacity would be over-capitalising, and one with insuf cient capacity means losing market share.
